Alison Forsythe has over 20 years of management experience in the IT sector. In her current role, Alison is responsible for the general management of the Macola division, overseeing software development, sales, marketing, support and consulting services.
Prior to joining ECi in 2013, Alison led the enterprise market expansion efforts at SMART Technologies as the Managing Director, Americas. Prior to SMART Technologies, Alison served as Vice President, Americas Channel Sales for CA Technologies, a global provider of enterprise IT management software, driving significant revenue growth in addition to reengineering financial and operational processes. Alison also served in various sales leadership positions throughout a nine-year career at GE Commercial Finance. During her tenure with GE, she was responsible for managing a $1B sales division with GE Access, a worldwide distributor of Sun Microsystems and other complementary IT products. She later joined GE Vendor Financial Services where she led the sales division, responsible for developing and providing financing solutions to Sun Microsystems channel partners and end user clients.
Alison holds a Bachelor of Arts in in Mathematics from Queens College in Charlotte, North Carolina. She was recognized by GE as key talent for three consecutive years from 2000 through 2003 and received her Six Sigma Green Belt Certification during her tenure at GE.
Alex Braverman is the Business Controller. He is responsible for business planning, budgeting, forecasting and analysis for Macola as well as other Specialized Solutions within the Americas.
Alex previously served as Vice President of Finance for ECi North America, and has held several additional roles including Vice President, Finance and Assistant Treasurer of Monotype Imaging, a software company focused on font design; Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer and Corporate Controller at Mercury Computer Systems, a supplier of real-time image and digital signal processing computer systems; and as Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer and Corporate Controller of NMS Communications Corporation, a provider of technologies and solutions for converged and mobile networks.
Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Framingham State College and a Master’s in Business Administration from Bentley College.
Director of Finance and Administration
Karen Dover is the Director of Finance and Administration for the Shared Services organization throughout the Americas, responsible for managing the financial operations of Specialized Solutions, Business Solutions and Cloud Solutions. Karen previously served as CFO for CMC, an international business development organization that assists technology companies with establishing sales and distribution capabilities in the United States; as Corporate Vice President of Finance for Sterling Commerce, Inc.; as Director of Finance for Sterling Software, Inc.; and in various other financial positions within the technology industry.
Karen received her financial and business education from Franklin University's Ross College of Business and The Ohio State University's John Glenn School of Public Affairs.
General Counsel, Americas
Robin Foster, Esq., serves as the General Counsel for the Shared Services organization throughout the Americas. Robin has practiced law for over 14 years, specializing in software/IT licensing and legal staff management. He previously worked for JPMorgan Chase as VP, Sourcing Manager, Global Enterprise Technology and has also served as Counsel, Manager for IBM Software Group and as Associate Attorney, Intellectual Property for Frost Brown Todd, LLC.
Robin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from Miami University and earned his JD from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in Highland Heights, Kentucky.
Director of Development
Derek is responsible for software development, deployment and quality assurance for all Macola products. Since joining Macola in 2015, he has transitioned the Macola development team into a fast paced Agile startup culture fostering innovation through a strong internship program, company hackathons and the creation of Macola Labs. Derek also drove the delivery of Macola 10.5 – the most advanced web-based application in Macola’s history, featuring tablet first design and responsive user interfaces.
Derek has more than 15 years of experience in software engineering, enterprise architecture and IT management. He has written code for successful startups and managed IT teams for Fortune 500 companies. Derek was a principal architect and developer at the Columbus-based startup ClearSaleing that pioneered the field of Attribution Marketing. ClearSaleing was acquired by eBay Inc. where he led an integration technology team for nine years before joining Macola.
Derek has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Director of Professional Services
Kenneth is responsible for the delivery of services for Macola solutions in the Americas. Since joining Macola in 2011, he has held numerous positions in services and sales for Macola including becoming the worldwide sales leader in 2015. As the technology director of one of Macola's largest customers and now as the director of services, Kenneth is in a unique position to identify with our customers’ needs on many levels which allows him to direct the services team to provide a better customer experience.
Kenneth has a Master’s of Business Administration from Dallas Baptist University.
Director of Human Resources
Nikki Warren is the Director of Human Resources for ECi, responsible for supporting 4 business units and 300 employees within the Americas. With over 15 years in Human Resources experience, Nikki seeks to maximize employee involvement and business success by using fresh, innovative and proven strategies. Prior to joining ECi, Nikki spent 12 years in HR leadership within distribution and manufacturing environments for companies such as Amazon and Target.
Nikki holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources from Faulkner University in Montgomery, Alabama.
Director of Customer Services
Deedra Wetherholt is the Director of Customer Services. Since joining the company in 2015, she has been responsible for leading the customer support organization to drive high quality, accurate, and timely issue resolution and has installed a culture of customer service excellence.
Deedra has more than 20 years of experience in customer support, project management, consulting services, training, and development. Prior to joining ECi, Deedra held roles as Vice President of Research and Development and Vice President of Operations for a leading ERP provider for local government software.
Deedra has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Miami University. She is a Project Management Institute certified Project Manager and Agile Practitioner.
